Can you help me date these Chippendale end tables?

Would anyone be able to help me date these Chippendale end tables? My mother recently passed away and I chose these tables and a few more pieces that I loved the most. She bought these used before I was born and I'm 60. I love learning the history of the things I own. Value is unimportant. They are 28 1/2 inches high and 19 1/2 inches at the widest point. I have two. I greatly appreciate any input.

 

Pretty ! Im thinking they are later copies,maybe circa 1900 give or take but Im often wrong.

 

Definitely later copies, not period mid 1700s. Looks either mahogany or stained to look like mahogany. I think 20th century, but not a factory piece.

Instead either made by a custom builder, or possibly from a home workshop by a dedicated and skilled home hobbyist who hand carved the legs and veneered the top. If you can figure out the writing underneath, it may point to which of those possibilities is more likely.

If forced to guess I would think more mid 20th century when patterns for reproductions were in books and magazines, and reproductions more closely followed original designs.
