    Personal opinion? Early 1950's "Colonial Revival" vanity bench, originally part of a bedroom suite.

    Let others tell you what it REALLY is!!!!

    PS I see remnants of Art Moderne (1940's) in there are well, so..............

    I agree it looks like a vanity seat. I had my grandparents’ 1940s bedroom set s few years back, and when I was about to donate the set I looked up the asking price online. The vanity benches aren’t particularly expensive (maybe $50 at best, likely far less) relative to their potential value. The smaller size makes them kind of versatile, so it may be worth keeping. Yours looks lovely.
