Can someone help with info on this chair?

    It appears to be a mid 19th C style parlour chair.

    Would you know if this was made here? I can't find a pic of a chair even similar with the wood seperating the fabric pieces and the ornate wings under the armrests.

    Depends where 'here' is, posters come from USA, Canada, UK and continental Europe, mostly.

    In England I see many of them, in this style. Heavy Victorian is not popular at the moment but may be the bees knees wherever you are. Tastes vary.

    Larger pictures from more angles and underneath would help establish if it is a period piece or a 20th C reproduction.
