My wife and I found this chair at a value village. We want to know if it is worth anything as it looks very unique. We wanted to know what year (era) it might be from, what is the style and any other info someone might have on this chair. We really appreciate it!

I'd say it's worth pretty much exactly what value village is asking for it, how much are they asking?

    I
its less about the value and more about the history of it

I'll guess a 1980s era "barrel" chair but I could be wrong on that, wait for others.

I think its a 1960-70s mediterranean style chair. I bet its comfortable as sin,but not particularly valuable.

I'd say the same era, and worth not much. It would make a great cat bed however - just ask a cat!

    I agree - it's mid-century - but definitely not mid-century modern.

Agree.... late 60s-70s Mediterranean or Spanish revival. Just starting to see some slight interest in this stuff since Grandma used to have it.

The Spanish stuff isn't appreciated much, but it's sturdy. It would make great furniture for a kid's room - no worry about a bureau tipping over despite your three year-old's best efforts.
