Can anyone tell me about this dragon vase?

    This is one of the things I found at a thrift store today. It has a dragon wrapped around it that is almost 3d in effect & it appears to all be hand painted.

    It measures 12" tall x 6.25" wide - but it has no markings on it except 1 & I'm not sure it it's a character in a name or just a design?

    Can anyone tell me anything about this vase?

    Modern...art class project perhaps...grade C- ....i dunno.

    Edit...i think the "mark" you're looking at is the pearl that the dragon is chasing, although it looks more like a peanut butter cookie.
