    image.jpg image.jpg Hi there,

I have an antique desk that I am looking to have taken off my hands - the only problem is, I don't know WHAT it is. A friend said they thought it might be a Louis XV?

I'm wondering what era it's from, what its made out of, what the history is, what the value is, and WHERE do I take it to have it sold? I live in NYC.

    Someone help!

It is a reproduction Louis XV desk. It looks reasonably new based on your photos and I see it has some condition issues. As a result, I doubt it has too much value but I am sure it is salable. You might try selling it outright on Craig's List or ebay. For less hassle and probably less money you could sell outright to a dealer. Another option would be to sell it at a consignment shop.
