    Hello-

new to the forum, my wife and I recently purchased a home built in 1950. There is a water feature that is stamped I S F with what appear to be Greek gods/goddess maybe? It is 40-48” and is metal of some type. It hasn’t been cleaned but appears shiny

Is there a dedicated water supply or just reliant on rain water?

Hi @Luke Allen & WELCOME to ANTIQUERS! Max size for images on this site is 1 MB, so I've resized your image down so it's under & can now be seen......below: P.S. I love the setting, but can't help with the dating it...sorry....others should be more helpful along those lines, although yours also "looks" like lead!!!

    I
thank you so much! There are original landscape plans with the house, we are looking to return to original in places if we can!

Looks like you have Ceres/Demeter, with her sickle & sheaf of grain. I can't see details of others well enough to form an opinion.

Yours appears to differ in decoration from the one sold on 1st Dibs. Yours has a repeating pattern of the same 2 figures (from what I can see); the other has at least 1 other figure & when the 3 that are visible are put together they look like Seasons: the old man Winter; the flower laden Spring; the abundant Summer. If they have one representing Autumn, I couldn't see it, but you seem to have only Spring & Summer.

Lead would make sense since it would not rust. Welcome to Antiquers and the garden looks wonderful

After further review, it appears to just be a repeating pattern of Ceres…I have cleaned out and am in the process of getting it working! Will need to replace water pump and supply line to upper portion. There is a clean out cap and 1”pipe that runs below the cistern and out thru the rear brick wall

    Ceres/Summer & the Spring figure:

Think that may be a gryphon between them.
