Can anyone date this gate leg table?

    Its previous owner had no information and I'm trying to find out some info on when/where it's from. I live in Ontario, it belonged to the grandmother of someone I assume to be around 35 years old.

    Anywhere from the 1920s to the 50s. They made this stuff for a long time and by the zillions.

    It looks like a gateleg to me,a leg swings out like a gate to support the leaf.
    A drop leaf has a bracket or bar that either pulls out or clicks into place to hold up the leaf.

    I agree, a gateleg table (and the leaf drops, as usual). Very useful when you have guests.
