California pottery with palm tree

    I have this ceramic or pottery tray, not sure what the first word is Spina , Spira, or something else. Does anyone know this pottery maker ?

    So, what would this be used for? Looks kind of like a bulb starter tray to me.

    IDK, my guess would be a bonsai tray or "saucer" for a planter.
