    Hello,

I believe these are two famous actresses, but I'm not 100% sure.

I remember seeing this photo once when doing research but for the
life of me can't figure out where I saw it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Warmest Regards & Happy Holidays!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

They might be child actresses/performers... but I don't know who they would be. The one on the right looks very slightly familiar, but not ringing any bells. Sorry! I suppose no writing on the back, even erased writing?

Wonderful long "curls" on the girl appearing on the left side of the photo. ;)

Chickering was a famous Celeb photographer. He has a lot of work in the Harvard Theater Collection and there's a lot about that on the web. That'd be my first approach but if no luck there, since Boston had a huge immigrant community when Chickering was working ca. 1890's, you could search for things like "Italian Twins chickering."

I did a search, but was initially unable to find under anything. May I ask why "Italian Twins"?

    Thanks in advance!

Faces could be Italian or some other S. European ethnicity. The costumes got me thinking of immigrants. All guesses of course-gotta start somewhere.

Perhaps you're thinking of the Dolly Sisters?
