Really unusual, very nice. Looks like a hand made piece to me. Can you show underneath please?

An amazing little table, Lillybubble, and welcome.
It has both Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts elements, nice. Is the white dot part of the decoration (inlaid), or a sticker?
And we definitely need more photos to show the construction etc.:)

Might vote for an early/mid 20th century date on this, ca. 1940-50. Looks hand-done, perhaps a hobby piece. The butterflies are stylized versions of a tiger swallowtail (big one) and morning cloak (middle one). The small one doesn't have much detail and almost looks like a geometrid moth. A lot of work went into this!

Hmmm, not a clue here. I was expecting something TOTALLY different from the title "butterfly" table. Very cool table though, the butterflies are inlaid into the top?

Wow! More photos, please! SOOO unusual... :)

First thought, an artist's piece, even the intricate shape of the wood on top is unlike anything I have ever seen.

It is drop dead fantastic, agree a lot of work went into this.

More photos as suggested... close ups of the work on the top, underneath, the more pics, the better.

I also think a one of a kind artist piece. Any signature? While there are elements of art nouveau, I don't believe this to be a period piece and can get on board with a post WWII date. Possibly in to the 60s but doubt any later.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

@Lillybubble5 , we hope you come back with more photos, and to answer the questions posed above. :)
