Butterfly Bowl - Japan

    The term for this type of wear is Japanese Luster ware. Very popular with hundreds of designs. Your's looks to date from the 30's. But it's really hard to pin a date since it was very popular here from the 30's through the 60's, but has been made for a lot longer then that.

    Looks like it says 'Made in Japan', agree it's probably 30's-60's, very difficult to pin down exactly. In general pieces like this are worth very little.
