Featured Brutalist / modern bracelet

    received yesterday. I had hoped to find a brand signature but unfortunately nothing yet. Well made. It weighs 36 gr.     Nice bracelet, Hi.
    I just saw the MP listing and it said it is marked 800. If there is no other mark and no 'S' or anything else added to the 800, it is probably German.

    No there is no othermark or addition. Only 800
    . What males you think of germany? How it is made or more the shape

    When this was made, Germany was the only Western country that used the 800 mark without any other marks.;)

    The change from .800 millessimal fineness to .925 millessimal fineness (sterling) started in Germany in the 70s. Some companies were early to change, others later.

    My guess is that your bracelet is 1970s, although the style could easily have been made ca 20 years later. It is Brutalist, but it also has a Post-Modern look, so the designer was ahead of his or her time.;)

    Agree with above! AJ described it well.

    Modern looking clasp, something about it makes me think 1980s. Its a very COOL looking piece. Can see why you got it!

    That shade of blue is very typical of the late seventies and early eighties. I bet it’s another pforzheim maker.
