IMG_0244.jpeg I got this ring home today, and I absolutely love it!
Bought online for a steal together with a cute petite Victorian pearl and turquoise forget-me knot brooch.
I cant make out the marks on the ring though: 925, RAE? And CAM? in the cartouche maybe?
I adore these freeform jewelry pieces!
Reminds me a bit to the Hannu Ikonen Reindeer Moss collection, or some sea corals (or an alien life form maybe):android::D
I m going to wear this one to bits, thats for sure.
Can anyone help me with the marks on this one?

    Gorgeous, Dessert.
It says RAE, part of ISRAEL, only the IS and L have dropped off.:playful:
It is a typical example of Israeli Brutalist jewellery. I have an Israeli Brutalist pendant/brooch that would go very nicely with it. I'll see if I can find a photo.

Any Jewelry, that brooch matches my ring nicely!
Thank you for the reply! I didn't know Israel had a brutalist scene at one time. I ll dive into it (oh no, thats not the right time for this joke):angelic:

Some of the best Brutalist jewellery ever made, and their other jewellery isn't too shabby either.;)
Every time I come across Israeli jewellery for a nice price, I buy it.
The pendant/brooch was my mother's btw. I caught the bug at a tender age.:hilarious:

Did someone notice I sneaked 'Baldriaan' from Clem Schouwenaars into my post? Maybe not the best public for a long forgotten Dutch writer, but one can try, no?

    ;)
This is turning into a literature thread, Schouwenaars, Shakespeare.
Anyone else want to have a go?:D

Oh my, to think I only knew Scandinavian/German modernist/brutalist jewelry. I looked at the wrong direction the whole time!:facepalm::D
Always handy to have some jewelry-collecting family nearby.
I m afraid my three kids got the bug from me

Shows how important a bit of lateral thinking is - i’d have spent hours looking up RAE and completely missed the simple and obvious
Nice ring, it looks great on the finger.

Living where I do, I used to find Israeli jewelry early and often. Then the synagogues stopped having rummage sales, or closed down altogether...darnitt. Brutalist with that mark fragment meant Israeli.
