    Just to know a little more about this Metalic Plaque with oriental letters.
    Dia: 16cm...Brass more than Bronze I think...Velvet underliner.
    Japanese..Chinese..Korean..??
    How old..??? Ancient..New...???

    Immediately after the Korean conflict, a great amount of brass foundry items began to be exported from the Korean peninsula...the raw material was shell-casings. Everything from small-arms to artillery, readily available almost everywhere; gathered up, melted an' cast into an incredible variety of Asian-themed display (an' occasionally functional) items, exported mostly to the US an' Europe, but effectively globally. The finish an' color are charismatic of the material an' period.
