Bronze candle holders or lamp bases?

    I thought they were candle holders, but there is a rod and nut on the bottom so maybe an old lamp base?
    They are 8" tall magnet does not stick, and they weigh 1 pound each. Hope someone can tell me How old they might be, What style they are?

    Look like the upper part may have had a spike to hold a candle. Have you trid to clean a small area with some Brasso to see if they are brass?

    Yes they are brass. And heavy.

    I did think they looked almost exactly like those.
