Broken jewelry

All, I know that I have some pieces of jewelry that are broken in various ways. Some could be repaired, and some could be used to repair other things.

I don't have a photo of it, nor have I sorted it. Would anybody like me to send this to you, sight unseen?

If you would like to wait before replying I could also quickly sort and post a photo... but it would have to wait until tonight.

-- By the way, this is my 400th post to these forums! That seems odd since I actually don't post here every day. But I was one of the early joiners (joined May 15 of this year) so maybe that is part of it. -- I see that I have the 4th highest number of posts, too. Overall it's a good group (not perfect, but good).

I might fight her for it, but first come first served. It might be a good idea to post a photo to make sure it wouldn't be a waste of postage.

 

When one has not had anything new to play with in almost a year (because I can't get out of the house), there is no such thing as "waste of postage".

 

Good point! I have to keep moving or I won't be able to move, so heigh ho off I go.

 

I was delayed getting back here by having a lot to write and do this evening. Just now I went through a small drawer that that has some jewelry in it. I realized that there is not really all that much that is broken, but I will still send it to Messilane.

I liked Janettekay's idea in the giveaway thread about the fish fork, and next time I give away something I will take names and draw from a hat. Although Messilane said I could change my mind and do that this time, I think I'll stand by the original agreement. But next time, it may be some intact jewelry. There is a lot in that drawer that I'd put there because I was tired of it. Some of it I still want, but I might give away some of the others.

I'll write to Messilane now to get the address.
