    I cannot for the life of me read the mark on the silver coin frame. Arg.

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    @Ownedbybear, I've been playing with this image for 'forever' trying to get it readable, mostly UNsuccessful.....but I REVERSED the image and was wondering if what you see on the RIGHT has any meaning......OR NOT.....it was just an attempt to make something of it.....it kind of looks like it says "nora"..........     I can't read that either. Sometimes a blown-up blurry mess is just a bigger blurry mess.

    Do you know what the orange/tan brooch is at the bottom as I’ve got one like it :confused:
    Did the photo of the right side of the butterfly brooch escape the net?;)

    The right side of the brooch is on the earring thread! Oops.

    I think the tan is carved Bakelite, I need to test it.

    aqui, thank you for having a go. I need to brood over the markings….

    The carved butterscotch bar pin looks dead on for bakelite.
