Brass jar with Arabic script, tobacco jar?

    Hello

    i have this brass jar, looking for information on it. I think possibly a tobacco jar? The lid screws on and it has this removable container inside.

    1060 grams
    14cm height excluding handle.

    The writing does not look like Arabic, and seems to repeat several times in the middle of the line.

    Yep, it's a traditional water carrier. Looks like it has a bit of age, early to mid 20th.
