Brass inkwell - old? What style?

    I found this inkwell with some 19th century silver plate stuff - but it doesn't look that old to me. Also, is this what you call neoclassical? It measures 7 1/2" across.

    No marks? I would call this neoclassical. Could be late 19th century or early 20th.
