Brass/Copper Vessels

    Looking to find information on these…they both seem like they’ve been around for a little while…but so do the ones in Cost Plus, etc!
    The one on the right is much heavier, looks to have actual hand hammer marks and tooling marks on the neck. The handle is a thick strap of metal.
    The one on the left seems to have threaded nuts, the handle piece is actual ceramic of some sort..the welding seams are pretty rough.

    While the shape is of a coal scuttle, the relatively small size makes this a decorative vase.

    Makes sense, it’s only 12” tall from the base to the top of the lip…can’t imagine it would hold too much coal!
