I saw this brass candle holder on eBay recently but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know the creature, maker, and age?

    Welcome to Antiquers, Mochicci :)

There appears to be scales on the body, so I'm guessing she's a winged mermaid, but this out of my realm, so please wait for others. Do all mermaids have hands? Not sure, but this doesn't.

I'll tag a couple of people (and I know I am missing some others) that may help identify:

    I think it's a siren . . . a mermaid/siren hybrid, to be exact! Seems forged/well made. Neat!

I'm with dude on siren. It's kind of odd for her to have front legs, but I think they were necessary for structural reasons.
