Picked this little opt up yesterday, and I suspect Indian given the marking and style. Would welcome opinions on age and/or region, please!

Looks like they did the little dots in the design with the same tool they wrote the initials on the bottom !

Yup, good point. It's hand hammered: the initials are in some kind of Devanagari script but I don't know which.

OwnedBear- Is there a Translation Site which identifies non-European/Latin based languages like Devanagari & other non-western scripts ?

I don't think there's one single site, I tend to look around.

@Any Jewelry what do you think?

Yes, one of the Devanagari scripts, and one of the Indian ones. Indian scripts usually have what my father used to call that clothes line or washing line look, with letters interconnected by a line at the top.

It is a gorgeous vase, beautiful colours in a type of meenakari I haven't seen before.

Thanks ladies for the knowledge-I learned about Devanagari script & the Meenakari decorative process.
To me it looks like it has a fair amount of age-but then, some 19th & early 20th century cloisonne appears quite old to me.
    It's a beauty either way-what size is this O'Bear ?

I'm inclined to 19th C. It's about five or six inches.

    And thanks, aj!
