Bottom of the Box Find

    Found this recently cleaning out a closet. It has served well over the years particularly in the fall of the year as a Halloween candy dish and then some sort of candy dish around Christmas. It is an old WEIDLICH BROS piece I found at the bottom of one of those mystery boxes we have all sprung for at an auction. $10 for the box and had a couple of additional pieces in it one of which I sold for $5. Anybody else have one of those rare scores that you have hung on to over the years?

    I only keep them for 25 years. Dispose and get another, hopefully better. Working on my third right now.

    Like yours, CBri, the initial investment is low, but the parting with is definitely not.
