These are all hardcover books. Their age and condition vary, so if you'd like more detailed info, please ask and I'll be happy to provide it. All requests for a given book will go into a bowl for a drawing.

    1. The Sound Wagon, by T. S. Stribling, 1935, Doubleday, Doran & Co., I think 1st edition, no dust jacket

    2. A Second Treasury of Kahlil Gibran, 1951, book club edition, Citadel Press, has dust jacket

    3. The Sketch Book, by Washington Irving, 1931, Macmillan, no dust jacket, includes the stories "Rip Van Winkle" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"

    4. History of the Great American Fortunes, by Gustavus Myers, 1936, The Modern Library, no dust jacket

    5. Adventures in American Literature, 1952, Harcourt Brace & Co, no dust jacket, textbook

    6. Lakes, Peaks, and Prairies; Discovering the United States-Canadian Border, by Thomas O'Neill, 1984, National Geographic Society, has dust jacket, lots of great photos

I can ship these books by Media Mail to cut down the shipping cost. If you'd like to know the cost to ship one or more books, please let me know and I'll figure it out.

I hope these books will find a new happy home! :)

Since I love a good fiction, I'd be interested in replacing my copy of:

    4. "History of the Great American Fortunes"

Media mail is preferred if I should be so lucky as to win a drawing.

LOL! I know what you mean, Mansons.

(I forgot to say initially that I'd draw names from a bowl if more than one person wants the same book... just added that info.)

Mansons, "History of the Great American Fortunes" is yours and I'm glad it found a home! When you get a chance, please send me a message with your mailing address.

I'll be donating the other books soon, but if anyone decides they'd like any of them, please let me know and if it's still here I'll be happy to send it to you.
