There are 12 of these -- this is a bit out of my field. Is it correct to call them "Bohemian glass"? The colors range from sort of a red to rootbeer among the 12. Measure approx. 5 3/4 inches high. Thanks!

    Hi,
Well it is cut to clear but I can not swear that it is Bohemin as it might be Italian. Wait for the "big guns". I am happy doing Usa 1910s to 1970s.

Thank you, Greg. You know, I wonder if these might be Italian...

They were at a consignment store --ironically was dropping things off Friday (not supposed to be buying) but here were these glasses on the shelf, just put out -- $11 for 6 glasses, so just under $2 a piece. And there were two sets for a total of 12. They positively have some age -- I would think 1960's or 70's at the absolute latest, could be much earlier. This kind of thing can be tricky for resale, but they are nicely made, they are heavy and it just seemed like a good deal I could not pass up. So $22 for all 12.

Curious what these might be. If any "big guns" are reading, happy to hear additional thoughts.

Going to give this a bump -- I'm thinking of trying for a quick sale on Craiglist -- maybe at $50 for the set?

Just a few questions -- based on the shape of the glass (would I call this a tumbler?) how old could these be? They are quite heavy, and there are amazing variations from glass to glass --even in weight. They seem to weigh in at about 8.5 ounces up to 11 ounces per glass. Here are a few more photos. Might quickly post on the Ebay PGP board as well. Thanks!

Thank you Book --I agree, they are very nice, can't really even compare with what's out there nowadays.

And Susan, you have found the exact set -- identical! Wow, however did you find those? I'm impressed with your research skills, and most grateful! :)

Seeing that auction is a big help, I know these probably aren't super high end or 6 would have sold for $50. I'm going to give them a shot on my local Craigslist. Hopefully will get a taker.

    Thanks!

They were most likely considered Highball glasses during the day.

Something about the design and the colors makes me think more 80s ? Maybe eastern European ? I also think they are gorgeous, and id have bought them in a flash !
