From your own computer? Use "Upload a File."

From PB? Use the sun and mountain icon next to smilies in the tool bar.

At 4-1/2" tall, I kind of doubt it is that but I guess it could be that.
Usually a nightstand carafe has a matching cup.
Since I don't know for sure, if it were mine to sell, I'd simply list it as a vase.
It doesn't strike me as terribly old, but I could certainly be wrong about that!
Is there a pontil or sprue on the bottom?

I have a similar piece with the matching cup on top. They are usually carafes with tumblers and I think they are Bohemian. I bought mine at an antique shop because I loved it, but I don't think it's terribly old. Hard to tell because the style is timeless. I'd list as a vase as well. Someone may come along and tell you what it is, but someone else may buy it because it is attractive.

I'm not good with glass but I think the term often used for the bedside carafe with cup is tumble up. Just another search term to maybe get you where you're going.

If it's not even five inches tall, it might be an ornamental perfume bottle instead of a carafe. If the inside of the neck is frosted, I'd guess it's supposed to have a stopper. If it's smooth, it's a bitty carafe missing its cup.

A thing like this might well have been meant as a decorative object without any other function. Having the inside of the neck frosted does suggest that it originally had a stopper. I don't know that a tumble-up would have that kind of stopper as the tumbler part is also a lid. Pieces like these are made for decorative purposes. I've had a couple of similarly cut eggs and can't imagine what purpose they would have other than decorative.

Thanks for all the replies, No the neck is not frosted. so a carafe with no cup or a vase.

Yep.(LOL) It is now a vase. The eggs are, well, eggs. Or in scientific terms, hangs-around-collects-dust devices.

If I have an area of expertise - it's dust collectors.

Well, duh, I didn't see the size. I would think a miniature would be even more popular. How cute. (I need to join Glasswares Anonymous.)

If this was a tumble up, the rim would not be flared. Because of the size I would lean towards a cologne missing the stopper.

I have seen more tumble ups with flared tops than non flared. Some very similar to this in shape and size.
But i thought we were going to call it a vase lol...
