Found this bird decorated vase today. Reminded me of a perfume bottle I had in Alexandrite that had a sticker that said GERMANY on it. HOWEVER....the Perfume Bottle,
while similar, had Swallows on it, and these birds look different. I them Thought Phoenix Consolidated. But after looking I think not. Any Help/input. would be appreciated. It is 9 5/8" tall. Thanks in advance!

LOL Aquitaine! I paid more then I normally would for something I'm not sure about. But when I asked myself.....if it's not worth reselling, are you willing to live with it.....and the answer was a big YES! So I took the plunge! LOL

The only thing I know about glass is that it usually breaks when I handle it, and I have a distinct aversion to the color blue, BUT!

I am in LUST with this piece..............and it makes a statement much large than 9-5/8" tall..........as we would have said in 1979 - That is FABULOUSO!

oh my.........................if coveting is still a sin, I'm packing Bermudas for a long stay in a VERY warm climate....................

Since an ID looks like a long shot.....Let me ask this.....if I were to put it in the shop for sale, what would you think I should price it for? I'm purposely not saying what I paid for it just to see what people think. I will tell you later what I paid if anybody cares to know.

I wouldn't sell this until you know what it is.

My first reaction was Czech. I was thinking Barolac or Desna, but can't find anything in that deep iridescent.
I saw references to Jobling and I did see some swallows, but again nothing in that iridescent.
    The same with Verlys.

If it helps......here is a link to a perfume bottle with almost the same design. the birds are clearly swallows on this and a little different then the birds on my vase. but the background and style seem the same. I had this perfume bottle in Alexandrite, and I'm pretty sure mine just had a sticker on it that said GERMANY. I don't know if that helps at all. Murano I'm pretty sure it ain't!

    I agree, not Murano.
Germany? I don't know. Possibly, but I don't know who.

Thanks Pat! That's the first thing I have seen that is close. I agree the quality isn't there and I don't like the top.
The iridescence on mine is very subtle. it's not something you notice when just looking at it. It shows better in the pictures.
