Blue and white egg cup????

This looks like an oversized egg cup to me, think it’s really old but not at all sure. Any help is much appreciated.

It is hollow each end yes

 

Transferware for sure (note the "seam" in the 2nd picture.) But how tall is it and how wide? Hard to say what it might be without dimensions.

 

4 inches high 2 1/2 inches wide

 

This is termed a "double eggcup" narrow end for eating directly from shell, large end if you would rather scoop from shell and eat egg chopped with salt, pepper and a little butter.
