Featured Black Americana Advertising Painting Help

    Just picked up this Black Americana painting of a young child holding an umbrella in the rain. I am seeing "Graham Biscuits" just above the cutout for the picture but that's about it. The artwork appears hand painted on board. Thoughts? Age? THANKS!

    Graham is a type of biscuit, not a brand. Looks like a modern racist decorative piece (if that's not a contradiction) to my eye.

    Wasn't told anything. it was in a box lot of 20 or so old framed prints and paintings. It was separated from the frame. I didn't really notice it until I got home and looked at each item separately.

    It's a copy of an illustration from a 1893 issue of St. Nicholas magazine.
