Beswick Beatrix Potter Mismarked/ Error Backstamp Figurines

    Hi there, I've just joined this forum/ website and I'm new.

    Does anyone have or know of any Beatrix Potter figurines with the wrong back stamp?

    I'm guessing you mean the wrong character name on the figurine. It could happen, but it wouldn't add anything other than curiosity value. It would take a die-hard collector to pay a premium. For most people, I think it would be seen as a flaw and lower the value. I expect the factory would treat such an error as a second.

    I have one
    It is the 1975 figurine Mr Benjamin Bunny & Peter Rabbit excellent condition) but is stamped with “Tabitha Twitchit & Miss Moppet- Beswick, England”

    FYI, this thread is from 2018 and the original poster hasn't been seen since then.

    Welcome! I love Beatrix Potter. I have a few (properly marked) figurines. Absolutely loved my visit to Hill Top in 2015!
