I guess this is a long shot since so many companies made blue willow, but maybe someone can help ID the maker. The platter has what might be the remains of a maker's mark in blue, but the only other mark is "best goods" impressed. Would anyone know what maker used this mark? Thanks so much for your help, Janice

    Evans & Glasson, maybe.

You're a first rate sleuth, Janetpjohn! It appears Evans & Glasson is likely the maker. That sort of explains the convoluted posting about Leeds and Wales. Evans & Glasson was located in Swansea, Wales (no connection to Leeds, although both appear to have used "Best Goods").
