Now that we are tightening our budget, we have given up our twice-a-month cleaners. They weren't expensive, but every penny counts. I don't know what they used to dust, but I'd like to know what everyone here recommends. My feather duster bit the dust (haha intended) and I don't want to replace with feathers.

Does that really get the dust or does it just move it around? I was thinking there might be a microfibre one that I could use without fearing a disaster. I"m kind of klutzy!
