Belgium? Flemish? Green Glazed Pitcher

I recently picked up this green glazed pitcher (I really liked the color and texture of the glaze). It is about 6” tall and 2 1/2” across the mouth. I could not make out the mark on the bottom so I posted it in a facebook group first. The only response I got was they thought it said Made In Belgium. Another group suggests 'Flemish pottery' (in general I think, not what the mark says). How about age...I can't tell whether it is older or newer. Does this piece ring a bell for anyone? Thank you for your thoughts! 2E1A20E5-732C-438D-92BE-792F5F3C3FE4-a.jpg BDC92DCC-8D79-4033-85F6-9DC2E417A75E-a.jpg F5A86AFB-B971-43E5-A4C3-EE5A0D6322CF-a.jpg 0F5EAA18-D677-42F0-89C7-98243482491A-a.jpg

Looks like "ium" to me, so I'd guess Belgium.

Lovely pitcher. I also read -gium, so Belgium.
Belgian pottery is known for it's fabulous glazes, often polychrome. Both Flemish (Torhout) and Walloon potteries use beautiful polychrome glazes.

Yours is monochrome though, so we'll have to wait for someone who knows more about it, like @say_it_slowly or @Ownedbybear .:)

I'd say Belgian, especially with that green. Nice pot, that. The bases often seem to have that overrun onto bare clay too. Numbering looks 20s or 30s ish.

So it probably can't be ascribed to a specific maker I'd guess? Thank you all for your input! Helps to confirm what I found myself before turning to Antiquers. I do try to do my homework first. You guys are great!

If there's a record somewhere of pattern numbers and who did that particular style of round stamp... otherwise, it'll remain a mystery .

It was probably for an individual glass of wine in a cafe.
