Beautiful figural group with mystery mark: K. Who made this?

    My guess is that K was the painter. There might be a maker's mark under that paper on the bottom - but maybe not.

    Royal DOULTON artist initials who surnames begin with K. and use the K. their names is Edith L. kemp or Harriet ee knight

    The capital K. was used by Edith L. Kemp

    So it's not Ginori but Royal DOulton? Or did she work for both.

    It is categorically not Doulton. I doubt it ever saw the UK.

    That crowned N is one of the "Capodimonte" pseudo marks.

    Lladro is Spanish, johnny. ;)

    I think it was interesting insight by Johnny who noted that the exagerrated/elgonated bodies suggest lladro. I wonder if that is a southern meditteranean thing? I did not see any Royal Doulton that looks like these, so Im guessing they are Italian
