Beautiful Daisy Vase 1969

This is a very nice daisy vase with an artist's signature (Aleta Elliott) on the base. What I can't find is anything about this artist and was wondering if someone on here would know of this artist.

 

I wonder if it might not be a ceramics class project. Very nice job though. I do like it a lot.

Wow! I wonder! Thank you for your research flipper. Where is this headstone? It looks right but the vase has 1969 on the base and the headstone say's 1917-1997.

So, is anyone else questioning if they think there is an 'a' in her last name....as "Ealliott" or thinking it's an error in her signing it????

Huh? Yes, which just means that she would have been 52 when she painted it. At that time (1969), there were all sorts of places where you could buy white paint-it-yourself pottery shapes and then fire it in a kiln at the same place. Very popular activity. This is hobbyist work.
