Totally outside my area, these. (Why do I DO that!)

A very soft little purse and a couple of beaded necklaces, bought separately. Anyone know who, when, where made....?

Before I get slammed for saying they are Native American tourist items......
I wasn't there when they were made so they could have been made by anyone !

OK...... is that enuf disclaimer !!

These are most likely 1st Nations bead and leather work....found on the reserve or at any pow wows.......
the pouch , Great Lakes or Ojibwa....1980...to yesterday.

The necklace on the right , likely inspired by a Navajo wedding bowl....again Great Lakes...Ojibwa ...in that area....I'd say 1970's....to 1990's

On the left ...more Ojibwa......similar dating....

These items are of course still made today......but to my eye yours have at least 30 years of age to them.

My Ojibwa made , within the last 10 years or so.....
That thick twist necklace is an older style but still popular......

I agree with @komokwa - fairly contemporary northern Native American. The leather appears "native tanned" (brain tanned/buckskin). The leather on the necklaces looks smoked, possibly moose hide.

Thanks chaps! Bought here in the UK, from two totally separate places. Odd what shows, isn't it. ;)

I never realized strawberries were a common theme for moccasins, but found plenty, just not the same.

I do indeed know there are re-enactment groups here, my godson does (our) civil war, complete with six foot musket, and I've met people who do "Wild West" stuff, too. Plus, Brits travel. It was the oddity of finding two bits of NA stuff, both possibly Ojibwa that amused me.

Yes, Brits travel......Canada being a favorite destination.....
I've seen many NA.....CDN & USA ...... from the 70's and 80's ..end up in Great Britain........& occasionally stuff from the early 1900's as well.
