    Hello fellow Antiquers
I’ve been looking at Bavarian marks and I can’t seem to find this one. Can anyone shed any light please.

    Hi,
If we could see the entire piece. From the marking I think the name of Bavaria is the name of the pattern of the piece not a manufacturer from Bavaria.

Souvenir teacup from Venice, apparently made in Germany prior to Unification. Or at least before they started marking Germany on pottery/porcelain. No idea of the maker but I don't think it matters.

Often times, Not always, marks over glaze are either a decorator or exporter mark and not the maker.
