Bassano piece date?

    I purchased this piece at a church rummage sale in a little town on the shores of Lake Como (and then nervously carried it home as a part of my carryon luggage).

    I know it’s Bassano and my guess is 1940s but I can’t find anything online for G(?). A. L.

    Hoping someone knowledgeable here has some more info.
