Featured Basket 1 of 4

    Picked up this group of baskets at a thrift store. Each is posted separately. Of the 4, my feeble brain thinks this one of the bunch, could be NA. I've seen this type being described as Pima, Papago, Tohono and even Apache. This is probably Pier 1. Measures 9.5 by 3.5 inches.

    I concur..... 1st 1/4 of the 1900's...I'd think..

    the rim single stitch tells me that..

    .the tighter single rim stitch is earlier ...1st quarter...

    the crossover rim stitch is more to turn of the century or before..

    a looser single stitch ..... 30's to 50's maybe...!

    but..... that's my rule of thumb.......& not written in stone..!
