Bar stool. Not sure where it comes from

    Your picture is difficult to see. Too much going on in the background. It appears to be metal. So a shop stool, not a bar stool.

    Hmmm.
    Thank you. I'm quite fond of it because it's adjustable. Would love to know where it originates from

    I found it it's a vintage drafting stool by an American company called Hallowell. :)

    May have been designed as a drafting stool.
    However, a very functional stool used in many settings. As necolletors mentioned science lab, probably used in a lot of classroom labs, as well as industrial shops.
