These are two ballet dancer statues found at grandparent's house. Both say "Made in Occupied Japan." I am guessing they are about 4 inches in height. I would greatly appreciate any history or value information for these two items. thank you. IMG_1577w.jpg IMG_1578w.jpg

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I always enjoy seeing this type of ballet dancer. A friend of mine who used to collect Occupied Japan items told me several years ago that they were no longer selling for much, compared to how they had been selling a few years earlier. But, wait for others who know more.

With figurines like these, a lot depends on the condition of the lace. They're not terribly valuable to begin with, and that goes downhill rapidly with damage to the lace. The more damage, the less value.
