    Hi Folks,
Pictured is what we think is a handsome carved bakelite bangle bracelet. But it doesn't pass the Simichrome test which for us is the standard. Could it be that the rather thick overspray is getting in the way? That overspray is so lovely we'd hate to mess with it. Any thoughts? Thanks. DSCN0060.JPG DSCN0061.JPG DSCN0062.JPG

It doesn't look right to me.
But that is just a gut reaction.

Lew, are there any seams on the bangle? Does the rose decoration look like it was molded (edges rounded over) or carved (edges sharp)?

Resin washed is what I had been mistakenly thinking as overspray! It sure does look like that technique. In answer to your question...no seams, of course. But the rose's edges do seem soft not sharp.
