Avon blue velvet wrap jewelry travel bag

Curiosity.. any know when the Avon wrap blue velvet travel jewelry bag was first being offered. I purchased an old piece of jewelry recently that was said to may have been stored for last 60 years in a bag like this. That would make the bag available in the 1960s. Thanks all.

 

I think 1960s a tad early. Looks 1980s to my eye. Dynasty era.

The question in my mind was when did Avon first get into the jewellery business? Google obligingly told me:

What years did Avon make jewelry?

Avon officially entered the jewelry industry in 1971 with their complete collection Precious Pretenders and then, Evening Creation.

I'm guessing they didn't make the wrap any earlier than this. As Debora said, could be 80s.

I looked at the link above but that logo isn't there. Odd. But I think the fur places it firmly here. This vendor agrees; 1981.
