    Hello

Please help me with this oil painting I have bought. It is signed Dora Meeson 53, and written on the back is 'August 1953 Autumn Flowers by Dora Meeson'.

Is this the same Dora Meeson I have found online? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dora_Meeson

    Measures 14" x 19.5" excluding the frame.

    Thanks for looking

Ah, this makes more sense. The Royal Institute of Oil Painters used same address at one time. Meeson was a member. A later work but I'd think of collector interest given she was Australian, a suffragette, and an early female member of ROI. Plus an attractive still life in original, high end frame.
