Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me I've been clearing out my parents loft today and have come across my great nans authorgraph book there are some really lovely drawings in there and they do match up to artists of that era. It's not all drawings there are poems, kind words, all sorts all dating between 1912 and 1918 Does anyone know where I could take it to get it looked at to see if it is valuable? Thank you.

First off, where are you? I'm guessing not the United States based on the language used. We have a lot of Brits in here, some Canadians, probably at least one Aussie, and folks from other countries as well. One of us will probably know.

I would suggest looking up auctioneers who offer free appraisals. You could probably even do this via the internet. If you are in the UK, Barneby's offer a free valuation service. Take some photo's and send via the form on their website, they will then forward it to a specialist in that field and wait for someone to respond. Sounds quite interesting....good luck with it!
