Authenticating/dating a lithograph

I have an unframed color lithograph i would like more information on. "Singapore from mount Wallich at sunrise." Original work is by Percy Carpenter. Can any one definitively tell me if this litho I have is of the same age/ origin? Below is a link to a Christie's , circa 2006 auction record. What is the verdict ? Is The one I possess auction worthy? See attatched images

The image in the Christie's auction is so small that it is impossible to compare to yours to see if it might be of the same age or origin as yours. You would need to do research on printings of this image to figure out which printing is yours. That generally takes specialized reference materials. I'm not sure whether anybody here has some sort of bibliography or list that would help, but perhaps.

 

How about a picture of the whole print? Size?

Item is as large as the image in the second link you posted, it is much larger than the first links image. I would guesstimate
24-36"x 12-18" I will measure tonight. It is definitely on older paper. pleaar advise if I should contact an appraiser/ auction house for more details re: printing date and other details about authenticity

 

Why not contact Christie's?
That sale you show was from 2006. The selling price well exceeded the estimate. Not a clue, of course, but I'd bet it sold to someone in Singapore. Can't even guess if the market still holds.

 

I will be contacting christies and Sotheby's. I did see another sale record from Sotheby's auction house.
