Austrian silver.

Hello everyone .I did buy this silver ,my opinion that is fruit basket. Antique .812 silver 1835 Vienna Austria 13 loth. Need your help .please. I do not know about a makers mark, ''F.T'' ,maybe someone likes this silver. Thank you.

 

I think they'll like it better if you polish it.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find an FT maker.

Total agreement! There are some faint markings there, but not sure they are even readable.....the circle to the right is partially readable with starting on the left.... "3, 1, A, 9 and maybe an L or C".... and '15 in the center', still in the circle...on the bottom, not sure I was able to pull out an 'A or R and N'.....something indiscernible below the circle, and something upper left corner also indiscernible.....​

I searched FT and found 5 silversmits without correspondend monogram and no one was actief in 1835.

fuchs theresia (active: 1806-08)
fournituren theresia (active: 1813-1822)
flipek Fritz (actieve: 1883-1924)
Fleischhacker theresia (active: 1898-1900) and Franzl theresia (active: 1893-1909)


i also searched the otherway (TF ) and found more dan 20 names of silver Smith Smith but only these 3 was active during 1835.

Already tried there and found no FT maker's mark illustrated.

 

AN AUSTRIAN SILVER SUGAR BOX
MAKER'S MARK F.T., POSSIBLY VIENNA, APPARENTLY 1857
Oblong with waisted sides, engraved with foliage and bordered with chased shells and foliage, the cover with a whippet finial, fitted with a lock - 6½in. (16.75cm.) long, 21.5oz.I found similar marks ,maybe it gonna help ,t hank very much.

 

Did you actually see the mark on that one?

 

I note that the FT in your post above is F. T. but the one we're trying to find a name for has no dots after the letters.
