Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

OR anyone else for that matter!!!! I have an "American Cat-alogue", The Cat in American Folk Art, compiled by Bruce Johnson, book. At the time my parents gave it to me when first married, we had cats!! ((About a year ago I was able to find a replacement in pretty fair condition!!)) Later one of our now long deceased dogs did some "minor?" chewing on it..... however the inside pages are in good condition....as is the cover (mostly) ....back cover is gonzo! There 8 color pictures inside, the rest are all B & W.......several photos are included here showing condition and two of the color pics. If there's any interest, I'll break out the Trusty Straw Hat for a drawing on Friday afternoon!!!! BTW....the book is 9" x 7", and 123 pages.

I remember that book. :) And I also remember a red book of fairy tales that our crazy Irish setter gnawed. leaving great teeth marks and a ragged edge where he managed to remove the back corner

    Cat-alogue, that is. I'm a cat person, but I prefer mine self-propelled.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I love tracing various cultural/whatever subjects through history. So much incidental learning along the way. And every now and then it provides a clue for a mystery down the line somewhere. This looks really interesting.

    I want it, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

    Just got it!
    It is wonderful.
I was telling Acquitaine that I want it not only for me but for my niece. We're building her a library about her favorite topics... clothes and furniture and cats. She's an old soul. Doesn't want anything new or modern. When I finish reading, she'll get the Catalogue She really has a charming shelf of little old books like this. She goes into the front pages and makes up dedications and signatures... she said something about making this one out from Auntie American to Cat. A. Logue and dating it 1976 (printing date).
    Thanks again, Auntie American!
