Atalanta Bust F J williamson Legit or copy?

Hey guys,

I have this bust of Atalanta and it looks to be legit with what looks like a signature carved into the back, plus it is quite heavy. I have seen a few online on auction sites but how do I tell this is original or not? It looks to be bronze but then underneath it looks like it could be resin with a bronze finish which might suggest it is just a copy?

Not sure so looking for any advice on how to tell please?

Not many people will download a pdf to view the pics. I would also suggest getting a couple close up shots of the areas you mentioned that look suspect and upload those. Thanks

I'm definitely no expert, but the surface does appear to be painted in some of the pictures in the original post.
